please leave, now!

Election (1999): a movie well done to show what retarded people can come out of high school and what a good example of right and wrong is. reese witherspoon plays her part to a T. so good that after about 5 minutes of screen time you are annoyed with her to death, as if you are going to the school yourself. i don't really know what i didn't like about it though. something i can't put my finger on. maybe it was too upbeat of a movie. i'm not sure, but nothing really stood out at me to make this a great movie. besides the editing which was amazing, however if you see movies based on the way they edit it i'm gonna shoot you. don't see it.

The Doors (1991): okay, the guy was insane, drugs or no drugs. didn't need the movie to tell me that one. its oliver stone, so expect some craziness. the only thing worth saying about this movie is that some of the music is freaking great as hell. i've never been a doors fan, but they played some songs that reminded me of a ton of the dreariest cure songs ever. and val kilmer played this part like nobody's business. i don't know how he did it. sounded and acted more like jim morrison than jim morrison did himself. however, considering 99% of those reading this could not name a doors song, like the doors, or knew there was a singer named jim morrison before i mentioned him today, don't see it. its only to see if you want a really good idea about what our parents were doing when they were our age, and trust me, i don't think you want to know. you'll never sleep again.

so i bought Jesus Christ Superstar on DVD last night. the freaking greatest rock opera/musical of all time. and its not that gay ass remake they did in 2000 on a freaking sound stage. this is the original from '73 baby! i can't even tell you how amazing it is. i'm doing good on this renting thing from blockbuster since i got the month pass. since last saturday i think i've rented 8 movies. i'm gonna milk those bastards dry be month's end!

i go to school yesterday for drugs and crime. sitting, waiting, cancelled. fine by me. some peeps complain, "i drove all the way over here for it to be cancelled!!" i though could care less. so i'm walking out of class talking to that annoying matt kid. mistake #1. he says he's just going to stick around and read, but walks with me way out of his way to the doors leading outside to my car. then he tries calling his dumb wife to see if she'll pick him up early. he forgets her number so i ask if i can take him home. mistake #2. taking him home and getting some lecture on how great bush is, even though this clown hasn't a clue what he's talking about. he's just one of those faggots who don't bother reading below the headlines. get to his house and oops! he forgot he doesn't have a house key. so i take him to my house and he finds his dumb wife's work number and she'll be here to pick him up in like an hour. so we sit and talk about law school and church and how rich he thinks we are and how i shouldn't have a howard stern book and how he doesn't think i'm a bad person for not serving a church mission after joining and blah blah blah!!!! i showed him my guns and wanted to put one to his forehead. i didn't though. mistake #3. so he finally waited outside for her to come. by the time he dumpy ass left, the class would have been way over with had it not been cancelled. so i wasted a free class period for this queen. moral of the story: don't pretend to care about people you can't stand. don't feel bad, because there will always be someone else who can pretend to be their friend, it just doesn't have to be you.

on a happier note, i uninstalled service pack 2 for my comp. i'm sure nothing works on it still, but i feel a lot better knowing its gone. oh wow, look at the time. its time for another movie...hasta!
